My quest to become The Queen of Halloween took a giant leap forward this week, when Wayfair.co.uk asked me to create a Halloween-themed DIY for their Inspiration site.
Wayfair is THE place for all things home, bringing together the largest selection of home furnishings and décor, across all styles. With a selection of more than seven million home items, from thousands of brands, Wayfair helps people find the perfect product at the right price.
I’ve long been a Wayfair fan, having lusted after several items on the site for quite some time.
So, to say I was thrilled to be asked to provide an exclusive article for their inspirational design and lifestyle pages would be an understatement.
Halloween Dragon’s Eye Tutorial
When it came to deciding what to feature, it was a no brainer. My Dragon’s Eye is easy to create, uses few materials and makes a stylish, yet spooky addition to any Halloween décor.
Pop on over to Wayfair and check out this versatile, yet simple DIY.
I’d love to hear what you think. Will you give it a go?

A hui hou,
I’ve just been reading on Wayfair how you did the dragons eye and I’m going to attempt it probably a holder for a candle as I’m a fanatic for candles Lol! Going through your blogs I didn’t realise all the mystical things you have created, they are fabulous and you have inspired me 😊
It’s such an easy technique, Sam and so therapeutic! It’s what I used for the covers of the spell books and I’ve also used it to create some creepy artwork that I’ll be posting about soon. So glad you love the magick! Sue x
Ooooh creepy artwork! will keep an eye out for that 😉 I bet your home is a wonder of objects and creations, how cool! You are very creative Suzy, and I love your work didn’t want you to think i just like the magick but it is my fav 😀
Well I hope I can do it justice. Your work is inspiring. I’m having a Mad Scientists Conference (party for grownup) and this will add greatly to my apothecary collection. Will send photos as soon as I can.
Can’t wait to see them, Leanne! I’ve been dabbling in mad scientist ideas, I can’t wait to see yours! Sue x
Hi,
For some reason I am not able to open your site where the dragon eye tutorial is. Can you send me the direct link.
Thank you for sharing.
Jackie
Hi Jackie. I just checked and it seems the link had changed. I’ve just updated it, so you should now be able to reach the tutorial. Apologies for the problem you had, but thank you so much for taking the time to point it out so I could rectify it! Hope you enjoy the tutorial. Sue x
