If you’re dropping by for the first time and wondering why on earth the latest post is still looking festive, it’s because I’m on a blog break – I promise, Christmas has definitely left the building! In fact, all physical traces of Christmas were removed by New Year’s Eve – a record, even for me.

Things are quiet around here because I’m taking my cues from nature and taking a January break. Well, from blogging that is. Behind the scenes, I’m getting creative and learning new techniques. If you want to see what I’ve been up to, check out Insta and Facebook.

I’ll be back in time for Imbolc and Valentine’s Day but in the meantime, the OneandSeventy archives are awash with posts you might like to visit. Come and celebrate the seasons (including Christmas) with projects that honour the yearly festivities or, if you’re changing things up for the new year, why not check out some of my general decorating projects to help make your house a home? There again, if you’re here specifically searching for inspiration of a spookalicious nature, then you need look no further than my Halloween section, where there are projects galore to satisfy even the most obsessive of haunters.

I hope you don’t mind that I’m taking a break. It’s been a full on year and if I’m to continue bringing you my unique blend of craft and décor ideas, I need to recharge. As they say… you can’t pour from an empty vessel!

See you in February!
