One of the reasons I haven’t given over the blog entirely to Halloween is so I can continue to indulge my passion for all things home. Suzy Homemaker is still very much alive and beautifying our home remains a huge part of my life. The problem is, so many of the changes I want to make here at OneandSeventy involve spending a ton of pennies.
But writing about Halloween AND Home gives me the opportunity not only to share everyday projects to satisfy even the most obsessive Halloween heart. It also means that when a company like LionsHome UK approaches me to write a post about their services, I can say yes without it feeling at odds with my values.
Especially when that company also happens to deal in Halloween home décor. Talk about match made in heaven!
Lionshome UK is an online shopping portal for all things home and living. Bringing together thousands of products to suit all decor styles from shops including Argos, Tesco, and John Lewis, LionsHome UK’s aggregator service gathers products and prices from all over the interweb, to bring you a fabulous selection of home furnishings all under one roof.
To be honest, I really didn’t know what to make of it at first. LionsHome doesn’t actually sell any products, so what was the point? Then I took the website on a test drive and was pleasantly surprised.
All witches have to sleep, right? And one of those high-ticket items on the OneandSeventy shopping list is a new mattress. So I popped “Superking Mattress” into LionsHome’s search engine and was presented with hundreds of results to compare from.
To narrow down the selection, I used the handy price widget to adjust my budget but sadly, a mattress was still out of our price range. Discarding my search for another, more penny-rich day, my inner obsessive soon chimed in. I wonder if LionsHome includes Halloween decorations? Cue search for “Halloween Home” and BOOM!
23898 products found.
As Halloween gets closer, that number will only increase, but 20,000 delicious Halloween decorations is enough for anyone to be going on with!
As I happily scrolled through I spotted some brilliant products, including many not exclusive to Witching Hour. Fab! That makes LionsHome a great source for home lovers who want a little something different, without their homes screaming Halloween. That Skull Toilet Roll Holder, for instance – the perfect mate to the Skull Toilet Brush in the OneandSeventy Bathroom and this Moon and Bat Wall Clock.
There’s also a witch version!
Although if we’re talking witch clocks, this one is much more my style.
LionsHome returned tons of great ideas for the year-round Halloween Home, but you know me and my predilection for skulls. I have a strong suspicion this baby could end up gracing the shelves of the OneandSeventy Dining Room.
Now there’s a thought. I wonder what other skullalicious products I can find on LionsHome?
Oh. Nothing much. Only 28469 products!
So if you’re looking for inspiration, tips and great design ideas to help make your home magical, head on over to LionsHome UK and give their website a spin. You may just discover a whole new source for Halloween (and skull!) shopping for your home.
As always, I’d love to know what you think. Do you start chomping at the bit to decorate for Halloween as soon as summer starts to wane? If so, you’re in the right place! Drop a comment below to let me know.
