Welcome to the Cauldron Inn
If you want treats
You must come in!
Happy Halloween Witches!
If you’re planning on visiting The Cauldron Inn this year and you want to be surprised, then skip right along and come back to this post once you’ve been. While you’re waiting, why not refresh your memory with pictures from last year’s tour?
Still here? Good!
I won’t bore you with loads of drivel. This is an extremely picture-heavy post and there’s even a video, so we’ll get right on with it. But before we get started, I do have a mahusive thank you to make.
Claire Meldrum Photography gave up two hours of her precious weekend to photograph Halloween at OneandSeventy and to say I’m over the moon with her photos would be an understatement. The two above are both Claire’s masterpieces and I’ve grouped more of my favourites below.
Not that I needed to group them, I’m sure you’ll spot the difference between Claire’s and mine!!
Hands-down, my absolute favourite shot of the whole year (maybe ever!) is the one above of Lady Skelita’s Deathly Supper Party. I mean… how amazing is that? Claire really has captured the essence of this year’s Halloween scheme. I’m totally blown away by how brilliant the dining room looks; it’s exactly how I imagined it in my mind’s eye all those months ago.
Thank you Claire!
Now on with the tour. If you see anything you’d like to know more about, drop a comment below. Otherwise…

Did you make it this far? Phew!
I know, right? I did say there were lots of pictures. I’m sorry, but there were SO many good ones, I couldn’t choose!
“Hold on a minute! You promised us a video!”
Yes. Yes I did!
After much prodding from friends, I finally shot my very first Home Tour video…complete with scary voice.
There’s not much I can do about that; I was born with it.
Grab yourself a cuppa and settle in… it’s almost 25 minutes long!
So what did you think? As always, I’d love to hear from you. Either drop a comment below, or come on over to Instagram and Facebook and join in the chat.
You can even drop a nice comment on the video, if you feel so inclined.
And that concludes Suzy H’s Halloween for another year.
Boo!!!
I hope you enjoyed this year’s Halloween Home Tour as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Roll on Halloween 2018! Not that I’m already planning or anything.
I am.

I love halloween, but hate how it becomes more and more commercialised every year. Good old fashioned fun should be free
It’s certainly free here, Caroline. I decorate OneandSeventy and happily share it with our visitors for the absolute joy of it. Sue x
